Galatasaray

As many of you know, our favorite soccer team is Galatasaray. A few weeks ago Kaan went to Istanbul to visit his friends and watch his first Galatasaray match. It was a great game against Olympiakos in which we won, so Kaan was really happy. The next day he was hanging out with Melik and Gorkem when they spotted Arda Turan one of the players for Galatasaray. Kaan was so excited and got his jersey autographed for the boys and this picture taken. Arda is a big player here in Turkey and even plays for the national team. Not much other news. Atakan is getting big. Here he is about 2 weeks ago playing with Dede (Grandpa). Ilkan is loving school after about a week of crying everytime I dropped him off. Now he says, "tomorrow, school, teacher, friends, fishies, kaplumbaga (turtle)" pretty much in that order everyday. He was doing some funny gymnastics and poses the other day in the kitchen so I asked his teacher if they had a PE class the prior day. It turns out they do yoga everyday for like 15 minutes and he was practicing his yoga for us. Now if we ask him to show us his yoga he has a whole routine. It's hilarious! If youtube wasn't banned in Turkey I'd upload a video for you! Maybe when we return to the states.
