We arrived back in Turkey on Saturday, January 28 with the thought of school on our minds. Then we found out that due to extreme cold and snow in many parts of the country, the national government decided to extend our holiday break for another week. No complaints here!
On Tuesday we went to the doctor for another check-up. We had an ultrasound and all the other blood/urine tests. Everything came back good. The baby was even flailing its arms and legs around for us on the ultrasound and we got to hear its heartbeat thanks to the Doppler that our doctor has. It was an exciting appointment, to say the least. On the way home from the doctor, Kaan surprised me by telling me that Matt and Kathi were on their way to Turkey for a 5 day visit.
