So the big day was yesterday and what a wonderful day it was!! We had Ilkan's 1st birthday party at the Kansas City Wizard's match and so the party was of course soccer themed. Here are a few of the main pictures and I'll have more for you as the week goes on of opening presents, playing with friends, etc. We had 20 guests and our own field box to watch the match from. We ate pizza, ate cake (which I made myself and am quite proud of), and opened presents. They even let us go on the field with the birthday boy when the players entered the field and Ilkan got his own personalized Wizards jersey!! Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts. Ilkan is definately a lucky boy to have so many wonderful friends and family!!
