About 2 weeks ago now, Rachael invited Ilkan and I over for a Saturday of just sitting and talking. Little did I know that what I was really attending was a surprise baby shower for me! Rachael and Chrissy (another friend of ours who is married to a Turkish guy) had planned this little party with some input from Kaan and I had no idea. It was so sweet and my first baby shower while pregnant. (With Ilkan I was lucky to have two showers, but both were after he was born.) We had dinner, gifts, and cake. Here are some pictures of me with the gifts, cake, and the 3 of us girls with our little boys. Ilkan was being really shy for the picture as you can see.
