We started working with Ilkan on eating with utensils. I just give him his fork or spoon while he eats so that he can try. He sometimes gets frustrated and puts it down and just uses his fingers, but I guess it probably takes a while anyway for kids to get used to a fork or spoon. Last night we went to dinner at the Macaroni Grill with Melik, Amber, Erman, Rachael, and Keegan. Ilkan wanted my fork so that he could feed himself that way rather than with his fingers, so here are a few picks of him eating his broccoli with a fork. He was also pretty successful with his pasta noodles.
