We've been keeping busy this week going to the library for baby story time and with playdates on Wednesday and Thursday. It's nice to have just one thing to do each day to get out of the house. I really love the playdates that the mom's group I joined have each week. They are only for kids born in 2005 or 2006 and it is so nice for Ilkan to get to play with other kids and for me to have other moms to talk to. Ilkan was being really silly on Wednesday night and these are some pictures from that night. First he thought he'd sit in this box that he's been playing with, then I found him walking around with this little ball in his mouth while pushing around one of his "cars." Lastly, Kaan thought he'd share his ice cream with Ilkan so here are the two of them eating ice cream together. Ilkan now says "ball." He loves playing with balls. The funniest is that he calls pumpkins, balls. We always correct him, but he just likes to think they are balls. He is also learning a little bit of sign language, ok one sign so far but that's better than nothing. He points to his mouth when he is hungry. If it's not "real" baby sign, it's what we understand in our house!
