Last night we took Ilkan to see Sesame Street Live. He loved it! It was so fun to see the expressions on his face. Kaan held him through the show and at one point he reached on arem around Kaan's neck and the other around me and was patting the two of us as if to say "Thanks Mom and Dad!" It was really sweet. We had to get a penant for Ilkan as this was a tradition in my house growing up as a kid. Every year Mom and Dad would take Matt and I and we would each get a penant to hang on the wall. Now Ilkan has started his collection. We also couldn't pass up the Elmo balloon, or we would have heard a lot of screams from Ilkan. He loves balloons! At least he isn't requesting the most expensive souvenir!
We had a little bit of a crazy day yesterday. I thought we were going to have a hard time getting to the show because of the snow, but that went south of us. What caught us up was a trip to the ER as Ilkan fell and broke a small bowl and cut open his hand. Luckily I didn't panic, Kaan met us at the hospital, no major damage was done, and Ilkan got "superglued" back together even sparing some time for a nap before we had to head out. It is hurting him and we didn't sleep the best last night, but hopefully today he'll be feeling better.

i take it that the picture with all 3 of u included was taken after the show because ilkan looks almost drunk from exhaustion.
